About the Role:

We’re seeking a Level 2 Support Engineer to join our growing technical team. The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with enterprise applications, and a solid foundation in systems and database support. You will play a key role in supporting both cloud and on-premises environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide second-level technical support for enterprise-grade systems and applications.

• Troubleshoot issues across operating systems, application servers, and databases.

• Support cloud-based services and monitor performance using Elasticsearch and Kibana.

• Work closely with development and technical teams to ensure smooth issue resolution.

• Document support procedures and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

• Mentor and guide junior support staff.

• Manage installation, configuration, and updates for software and operating systems.

• Ensure data security, system uptime, and backup reliability.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.

• Knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL databases.

• Familiarity with application servers such as Tomcat and WebSphere.

• Hands-on with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and basic cloud monitoring tools.

• Scripting and data handling experience with Python, R, and SQL.

Preferred Background:

• Previous experience in IT support roles within banking, government, or telecom sectors.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in geographically distributed teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in Level 2 Technical Support or similar role.
